Fucking great

Instrumentals are great, I really liked the 80's hair metal tapping solo, it fit strangely well.
Bassline is good as well, doesn't play just roots and has good fills.
Your voice is great too, has a kind of nasty punk sound like Anti-Flag's vocals, though not as furious.

pretty good

It's a good start, the violin melody is well written and the percussion is used well. The bass/cello harmony is good, but repetitive. You should have different instruments take over the harmony, and change up the harmony as well, you used the same thing for pretty much the entire song, except for one portion where the violins stop playing.

The song has a bold feel to it, you should add some horns to add to that feeling, make a bigger sound.

Also, don't end the song the same way you started it, make an ending.

This would be good as background music for a video game or something, but for foreground music, you need to expand upon it and add more.

Yeah, I was trying to experiment with horns but my VSTi was giving me some funny business so I just gave up on it.

I think you're right, I really need to start experimenting with more instruments and changing things up subtly.

Haha the ending, yeah I know... But a few ideas kept falling threw so I said screw it, I really need to not do that.

Great

Amazing song, your voice has that great balance; it's gritty and mumbly, but not so much that you can't understand anything.

The instrumentals are also great. It has a good, predominant, bass part that isn't just roots (at least I think it isn't just roots).

you heard right, the bass part is this bluesy kind of melody unto itself, but there are a couple parts where it's just root notes, where it does work.
and thanks for understanding the words. random: my mom's a speech pathologist, so she'd be proud that i can scream comprehensibly. :P
